Gilgamesh Music Festival

The Gilgamesh Art & Culture Foundation  unveils its official 2025 program. It showcases bold electronic compositions from leading artists worldwide. The 19 selected works will be featured online, one piece daily, from November 1st through the 19th.

Submission Guidelines
  • Eligibility: Open to composers of all ages, nationalities, and professional backgrounds.
  • Work Length: Pieces must not exceed 5 minutes.
  • Submission Limit: Each composer may submit one work.
  • Accepted Formats: Audio submissions must be in either AIFF or WAV format (2-channels).
  • Video Encouraged: While video submissions are encouraged, we are not accepting live electronics or instruments/voices for this event.
  • Anonymous Submission: Ensure that the composer’s name and any identifying information are not visible in the file or metadata.
  • Judges: The works will be reviewed by a panel of judges, with Ali Balighi serving as the Chair of the Jury, alongside Bahar Royaee, Droki Ouro, Nina Barzegar, Kevin Press, and Bret Battey.
  • Entry Fee: There is no entry fee for submissions.
Required Materials
  • Audio or video file of the work
  • Biography (max. 200 words)
  • Program note (max. 200 words)
  • Personal data sheet (including full name, date and place of birth, citizenship, email, and phone number)
How to Submit

Please upload your files to a permanent link such as Google Drive, Dropbox and share it with us on the Registration Form.

  • Virtual Concert: October, 2025
  • Competition Opens: Sunday, December 1, 2024
  • Scores Due: Saturday, May 31, 2025
  • Announcement of Winners: Summer 2025

  • Selected works will be archived and may be featured in future performances organized by the Gilgamesh Arts & Culture Foundation. Results will be sent via email.
